Elementary Veterans' Day Celebration

From Mrs. Tracy’s 4th grade class today: “Students listened to a book from retired Army Major David Hutton. Then he had the students open up MRE’s to see what people eat in the military. They were excited to see what was in the meal packages. The students presented him with a card thanking Major Hutton for his service.”

What a great day for our Elementary students. Veterans of all backgrounds and Military branches are reading Veterans Day themed books to the kids. Some are also sharing photos of their time in the military from various places in the world while deployed. The students are loving every minute of it! Thank you to all Veterans for your service and for protecting our country!
