Investigating chemical reactions in Secondary Chemistry

Will there be a chemical reaction?
That’s the question students in Ms. Walbek’s Secondary Chemistry class are solving with this PBL unit. It’s called a precipitation lab and for these students, it is their first chemical reactions lab. Part of the unit includes trying to predict if a chemical reaction will take place using certain elements, investigating the reactions and documenting the data.
Watching the colors change with some of the reactions was impressive!
