STEM Staff Shout-Outs! (02/10/23)

Staff Shout Outs

Each week, members of the STEM Staff recognize their fellow teammates for the elements from the Formula for Character that they were exhibiting. Check out this week’s teachers that were honored.

Robert Hoornstra

Responsibility, Collaboration, Integrity

I still can’t believe how much Robert can and has accomplished during his time at STEM. We are very fortunate to have him. He has so much knowledge. This was not an easy project and Robert held it all together, even when it looked like it was going to fall apart. He remains even-keeled and always finds a way to go with the flow. Thank you Robert for everything you did with this project and for our campus. You are a legacy!

Annette Nason

Responsibility, Collaboration, Empathy, Respect, Integrity

ROCKSTAR, ROCKSTAR, ROCKSTAR! Annette almost brought me to tears when she came and offered help on a day when I felt like I couldn’t finish it all. She had some free time and just wanted to help someone. I mean, isn’t that amazing? Even at her most tired, she keeps going and always has a smile. I don’t know how we got so lucky to have her, but we are!! Thank you Annette!

Terri Irish

Responsibility, Collaboration, Empathy, Respect, Integrity

Terri is AWESOME! I’ve known Terri as a parent and as a staff member and she is just an amazing human being. She goes so far above and beyond that I am amazed by her drive and commitment. She pushes me to be a better person with her work ethic, her integrity and her willingness always to pitch in. I don’t know where she finds the energy! Thank you Terri for EVERYTHING!!

LynAnn Kovalesky

Responsibility, Collaboration, Empathy, Respect, Integrity

LynAnn truly embodies all of these character traits. She is always thinking of how we can make STEM better for everyone. She is always bringing people together to now only make the situation better but to make the person better. She always wants to do the right thing, even if it means more work. She is never afraid to pitch in to sweep, clean or take the garbage out. Thank you, LynAnn for being a great leader and showing us a great example of what we can accomplish when we all work together.
