Enrichment News/Updates (01/26/24)

Please Consider Donating to STEM’s Enrichment Programs

Donations will enable Enrichment to provide much-needed program scholarships for STEM families in need of financial assistance, update equipment, like Spike Prime kits for our First LEGO League, and offset expenses for our low to no-fee clubs and activities, like Battle of the Books and Craft Club. Click the button below to donate to STEM Enrichment today!

Volunteers Make it Possible

Many of our after school programs wouldn’t exist without the dedication of our parent volunteers. Our FLL, BEST and FIRST Robotics teams are all supported by parent coaches and mentors through a labor of love for their children and quite possibly the chance to play with robots. TSA parents put the “luck” in potluck with a smorgasbord of culinary delights at TSA Run-offs. Middle school Dungeons is organized by fantastic parents that are sharing their love of the tabletop adventure game allowing the club to triple in size and support a half dozen campaigns and 30+ students. Volunteers make the after school enrichment world go round. Thank you all!

Wishing you all a peaceful and relaxing winter break.

Kind regards,

Melanie & Emily

Starts Tuesday, January 30th! Get more information. Girls Who Code Clubs are spaces where girls can join our sisterhood of supportive peers and use Computer Science to change the world. When you join a Club, you will learn by reading excerpts from our books Learn to Code and Change the World and The Friendship Code, practice new skills by completing fun and simple online coding tutorials, and build community through interactive activities with the rest of your Club. Space is limited to 12 students

Advance Choir Club Grade 4-5 Now accepting audition videos

In STEM’s Elementary Advanced Choir Club, students will learn a minimum of 5 songs that will be more rigorous and more challenging than the songs we learn in normal class. Students who audition for the Adv. Choir Club should want to learn harmonies, possibly sing solos, and perform in a small group to really hone in their musical skills. If your student would like to audition, please help them record and submit a 2-3 minute video of them singing an appropriate song of their choice. It could be a cappella or with a karaoke backing track as an audition. If you’re unable to submit a video, Ms. Erin will have a limited number of time slots available between January 29-31 to pull students for auditions. The video upload submission is the preferred method of auditioning. Videos will not be shared and will only be used for auditioning purposes.
