Another Record-Setting Day for STEM Track & Field

On a cold and windy afternoon at Jeffco Stadium, the STEM Track & Field teams had a record-setting day at the Varsity Ivory Moore “We Are Columbine” Invite! A total of six new school records have been added. Congratulations to the following student-athletes:

  • Rebecca Bukowski – 100m Hurdles – 23.69
  • Ellason Arendale – 1600m – 6:27.98
  • Olivia Staab – 3200m – 14:39.99

With her fifth-place finish in the 3200 meters, Olivia Staab becomes the first girl in STEM history to score points as an individual in a varsity track & field invitational!

  • Alexander Rogers – 100m – 13.36
  • Ryan Byers – 400m – 1:02.77
  • Kellan Shiffer – 200m – 25.68

With his ninth-place finish in the 200m, Kellan Shiffer becomes the first boy in STEM history to score points as an individual in a varsity track & field invitational!
