At Jeffco Stadium on Saturday, the Spartans took advantage of the nicer weather to set four new school records and a whole bunch of personal bests.
On the girls’ side:
- Ella Arendale set a new record in the 400m, running 1:08.72
- Jeda Welle broke the 30 sec barrier in the 200m, setting a new record of 29.40.
Not to be outdone, the boys set two new school records as well:
- Ryan Byers broke the 1 minute barrier in the 400m, running 59.98.
- The Boys 4x400m Relay team of Hunter Englesen, Andrew Hathaway, Jacob McCallister and Ryan Byers lowered the school record again, running 4:06.17
