Spartans Post Season and Personal Bests at Liberty Bell XC Invite

The Spartan harriers had several season and/or personal bests at the Liberty Bell XC Invite held on Saturday at Heritage High School. There were approximately 2000 runners in attendance overall, making this meet almost as large as State.

For the lady Spartans, Ellason Arendale dropped over a minute on her season’s best thus far to place 55th. Paige McEnerny and Abigail Hullinger also had solid races, helping to pace the girls to a 14th-place-team finish, their best of the season!

On the boys’ side, Silas Pacheco ran almost a full minute off of his best this season to place 46th overall. As a result of that, along with improving their pack time from #1 runner to #5 runner (taking 2 mins off), the boys team placed 13th-out-of-19 teams-their best finish to date.

The Spartans start the second half of their season this Friday 9/17 at the Arvada West Durden XC Invitational held at the Stenger Soccer Complex.

Thanks for your support of the Spartan harriers this season!
