Whew! We have finished the Boys’ basketball season, and what a finish it was! The JV played two very competitive games but came up short against Arvada and Mile High Academy. The JV team finished with only one win but saw a large number of players get significant playing time and improve their skills. Next year looks very promising.
The Varsity team lost on Tuesday against Arvada but put an exclamation point on the last game by defeating Mile High Academy. The team improved dramatically over last season, going from 3 wins to double-digit wins! We honored our seniors with a pre-game ceremony, including players and their families. Hearing the Bios of our players, including their participation, achievements, GPAs, and plans for the future, was truly amazing! We wish them all the best in their endeavors.
Spring Sports begin practices next week! Please make sure you have completed the registration process, including payment and physicals. You may not participate without those completed.

Spartan Athletic Tickets Sold Online
Tickets for home Basketball and Boys’ Volleyball will now be sold online through GoFan. Click the button to purchase your tickets online. For basketball, prices are:
- Adults – $6
- Senior/Student/Military – $3
- Season Pass – Adult $40, Family $75 (up to four people)
- STEM Students and Staff are FREE with STEM ID
- DCSD Staff are free with DCSD ID
Volunteers get FREE admission! Passes are good for all regular season basketball home games. All tickets/passes include both JV and Varsity games on same day. Proceeds from tickets go to STEM Athletics to directly benefit our student athletes. Cash will still be accepted, but paperless via GoFan is preferred.

Do you have family or friends who can not see their favorite STEM Spartan Athlete compete in person? The STEM Spartans Basketball and Volleyball games will now be available to watch on a phone/computer/TV! Games can be viewed live or recorded (video on demand). This service is available anywhere the internet is available. Not only can you see ALL STEM home games, but any teams with the NFHS network we travel to are available as well! All home games, Varsity and JV are recorded. As a bonus, a portion of subscriptions are returned by NFHS to STEM Athletics to directly benefit our Spartan student-athletes.
