Dear STEM School Highlands Ranch Families,
As you may or may not be aware, the sentencing hearing for one of the perpetrators of the May 7th incident at STEM is occurring this Friday, Sept. 17. This may be an emotional day for some of our students, families and staff and I want to remind all of our families that we have a number of resources available to help.
Our recovery coordinator will be reaching out to families, students and staff who were here that day to provide them with specific resources. We want to encourage all of our families to visit the STEM Center for Strength if needed. The Center is a great place for our community to come together to support one another and just be together. The AllHealth Team at the Center are top-notch and skilled to meet a large range of needs.
Our motto this year is #STEMStrongerTogether and now, more than ever, it is so important that we are here for one another. Without the support of each other, we could not get through difficult times such as these. While this is the closing of a chapter, it is not the end to our recovery. Our ability to lean on one another during moments such as these is incredibly important.
Thank you for your support of our entire student body, our entire STEM staff and our entire STEM community.
We are #STEMStrongerTogether.
Sincerely,
P.J. Eucker PhD
Executive Director
